For over 400 years the city of Buenos Aires linked to the river lived. Today, in a city that has 35 km of coastal boundary, the river is "invisible" for most of its inhabitants, appearing to be in a Mediterranean city.
Based on the memory of the lost places with the growth of the city, the "Beach Bicentennial 2010 - 2016", raises the recovery of the beaches of Buenos Aires with two projects, one in Costanera Norte and another in Coast South . Costanera Norte by filling 50 to 70 feet of earth, in the case of South Coast by the relocation of the Ecological Reserve in the Delta of Parana and the displacement of embankments. Is expected to create about 6, 5km of new beaches, 80 hectares of new green spaces and two small reserves. Throughout
