Facing the situation that afflicts the University of Valparaiso, which determines a debt of 23 billion pesos, the students of this we decided to build a request raised by the rejection in the near-election of president, until we get the result of external forensic audit, which not only identify those responsible for this looting, but also punished with suspension from office and / or leaving the university.
After the audit, we question the conduct of the election as rector of triestamental such as exercise then mark a precedent for the creation of new organic laws governing our university, in which participants are building officials (as), Officers (I) Academic (os) and Students.
Finally, facing the financial crisis of our university, we understand as a solution to the injection of funding from the state, so that once and for all, to take charge of "public education" in Chile.
assembly of students in the career of Social Work, held on Tuesday, April 15, solve the adherence to this request, determining mobilization from Wednesday 23 April at 20:00 hrs., as a result of the plebiscite held on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 thereof, with the aim of solving the power granted to the Assembly, which decided the seizure of the offices of the School of Social Work Valparaiso University to comply with that request.
After one month, we reaffirm the position of the student estate, which supports the continuity of the mobilization in the form of making the premises of the school of social work.
Today, Thursday 22 May, established the working methods and negotiation to be carried out with other professionals that make up the University of Valparaiso. These topics are treated daily at a meeting of race, which have onset between 12 and 13.30 hours, instances that are open to the participation of each and all of us / you, because they resolved issues that matter for the general student estate.
